Rose M. Gaetani, 88

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Rose Marie (Accetta) Gaetani, 88, of North Adams, Mass., died on Monday, September 24, 2018, at the BMC North. 

She was born in North Adams on December 8, 1929, a daughter of the late Louis and Leona (Nimmons) Accetta. She attended schools in North Adams. Earlier in her years she was employed at Cornish Wire and North Adams Commons but was primarily a homemaker and loving mother to her seven children. 

She was a former member of the Eagles and was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

Mrs. Gaetani was the widow of Peter Charles Gaetani, whom she married in Hoosick Falls on July 15, 1950. He died on November 25, 2000. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Nancy Hall and husband John, Dianna Ardizzoni and husband Chuck, and Trina Ranzoni and her husband Ray; four sons, Peter Gaetani and his wife Liz, Francis Gaetani and his wife Lori, Thomas Gaetani and his wife Lisa and Joseph Gaetani and wife Connie; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis and Louis Accetta.

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Rose Gaetani will take place Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 5 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass. 

Calling hours are Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for Berkshire Humane Society through the funeral home.
