Teresa M. Armstrong, 64

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — Mrs. Teresa M. Armstrong, 64, of Stockbridge died Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Teresa was born in Great Barrington on June 2, 1954, the daughter of Robert Hadsell and Katherine Baslow. She was raised and educated locally, graduating from Monument Mountain Regional High School in 1973.

Teresa married Frank J. Armstrong Sr. on June 2, 1973. Her husband died June 18, 2004.

Mrs. Armstrong was a dedicated homemaker, always putting her family first. She was never far when needed by her sons or her grandchildren. Her favorite role was being “nanny” or “grandma” to her eight grandchildren and was very influential in their upbringing. 

Besides spending time with her family, Teresa enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, reading and watching television.

Besides her mother, Katherine Baslow, Mrs. Armstrong leaves behind her three sons, Frank Jr., Glenn and Jesse Armstrong; eight grandchildren, Damon, Celia, Michael, Kaitlyn, Breanna, Abigail, Cole and Katrina; two brothers, Robert and Jason Hadsell; and three sisters, Linda Karch, Sandra Pothul and Lisa Hadsell.

Funeral notice: A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.
