Phil Simon. One of the premiere guitarists to ever emerge from North County. One of my guitar idols from the "old days" when we played in bands all over the place. I remember playing somewhere until 2 AM and then all of us piling into the old van and heading to NY to watch Phil do his magic with Rox, and his frequent visits to Tunnel City Guitars to jam with Earl, Doug, Poncho and me and reminisce about our past musical experiences. He was always quick to help out the up and coming guitar players too. You'll be sorely missed, Phil. Love you, man.

Sail on Phil, I remember your musicianship all the way back to 1969-70 or so. I don't remember if your band was Circus or Mantiev or another but I do remember your work with Peter No one/Monkees. Now find Jimi if you can.
