Gertrude A. Bravo, 98

LEE, Mass. — Gertrude A. Bravo, 98, of Lee, Mass., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018. 

Born in New Jersey and raised in Italy, she returned to the United States and married her husband David in 1948. Shortly afterwards, they moved to the Berkshires and raised their family in Lee. 

She is survived by her children, David (Chrissy), Lawrence, Patricia (John), Kathleen (Jim), Albert (Janis), and Michael (Karen); seven grandchildren (Lauren, Martha, Mikaela, Andrew, Christopher, Logan, Catherine); and eight great-grandchildren (Walter, Alessia, Alexander, Joseph, Mary, Margaret, Elias, Thaddeus).

She was an active communicant of St. Mary's Church. She cherished time with her family and enjoyed gardening and cooking, and was an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan.

Funeral notice: Visiting hours will be at Kelly Funeral Home in Lee on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Lee at 11 a.m.
