Wanda K. Weslowski, 87

ADAMS, Mass. — Wanda Katherine Weslowski, 87, of Adams died on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Williamstown Commons.

Born in Holyoke on Jan. 5, 1926, a daughter of Julius and Bertha Geppert Mundt, she attended Holyoke schools.

Mrs. Weslowski was employed for many years by Excelsior Process & Engraving in North Adams.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, she enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the senior league at Mount Greylock Bowl. She also was an avid golfer and was a member at Pontoosuc Lake Country Club, also playing in a women's league at Waubeeka Golf Links. She was a communicant of the Parish of Blessed John Paul.

Her husband, Louis F. Weslowski, whom she married on April 28, 1943, died on Nov. 16, 1997.

She leaves six daughters, Nancy Benoit and her husband, Edmond, of Holden, Kathryn Remillard and her husband, Richard, of North Adams, Louise MacDonald and her husband, Richard, of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., Marie Mazza and her husband, John, of Adams, Elaine Weslowski and her companion, Richard Brown, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Janet Hajek of South Glens Falls, N.Y.; a son, John Weslowski and his wife, Jean Talarico, of Somerville; two sisters,
Emmy Nadeau and Elsa Kraemer, both of Southampton; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her granddaughter Amy Remillard died on March 2, 1995, and she was also predeceased by two brothers, William Mundt and Julius Mundt.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Weslowski will be Monday, Dec. 9, at 9 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 at Blessed John Paul Church in Adams. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Sunday, Dec. 8, from 2 to 5 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
