BENNINGTON, Vt. — Dorothy Frances Bleau Burr, 91, of Hudson, Fla., formerly of Bennington, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at her home under the care of her caregivers Ronald and Anne Walczak.
Born in Bennington on June 18, 1922, daughter of Fred and Agnes Callahan Roucoulet, she attended Bennington schools.
Mrs. Burr worked in Bennington and North Adams, Mass., until moving to Florida. She was last employed as a security guard at Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Fla.
She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Hudson.
Her first husband, Harris Bleau, whom she married in 1950, died in 1976.
Her husband, Walter Burr, whom she married in 1995, died in 1999.
She leaves a sister, Viola Harrington of Bennington, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters Louise Walczak, Evelyn Gowey, Leona Bellows and Helen, in infancy, and her brother, Thomas Roucoulet, also in infancy.
