NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Charles Edward Shaylor, 68, of 25 Bryant St. died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at his home.
Born in Worcester on Oct. 31, 1945, a son of George and Eva King Shaylor, he attended schools in Worcester.
A decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the Marine Corps.
Mr. Shaylor was employed for many years at Flexcom Co. in Spencer.
He leaves his wife, Carolyn Billings Scott-Shaylor, whom he married Feb. 14, 2008; a daughter, Cindy Shaylor of Spencer; three sisters, Rose Machado of Sutton, Trudy Demers of the state of Florida and Florence Dupuis of Leicester, two grandchildren and several stepchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring.
Memorial donations maybe made through the funeral home.
