Shelly Lynn Pilling, 47

April 24, 2014

STAMFORD, Vt. — Shelly Lynn Pilling, 47, of Jefferson, Mass., formerly of Stamford, died on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.

Born in North Adams, Mass., on Feb. 10, 1967, a daughter of Thomas and Sandra Lesure Pilling of Stamford, she attended Drury High School in North Adams.

Ms. Pilling was employed at Reliance Engineering in Lancaster, Mass.

Besides her parents, she leaves her companion, John Kronoff; her son, Michael Pilling of North Adams, and her twin brother, Gordon Pilling of Jacksonville, Fla.

She was predeceased by her brother William Pilling.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours for Ms. Pilling will be held on Tuesday, April 29, from 5 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.

Burial will be at 11 on Wednesday, April 30, at Millard Cemetery in Stamford. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home.

I was fortunate to have been Shelly's 7th and 8th grade English teacher at Stamford School and remember Gordon and Shelly fondly. My sympathy to the family. So sad to lose her at such a young age.
