Steven P. Tatro, 57
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Steven Paul Tatro, 57, of 64 Mohawk Forest Blvd. died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his home.
Born in North Adams on June 24, 1957, a son of Norman L. and Helen Franz Tatro, he graduated from McCann Technical School with the class of 1976 and then obtained a degree in sociology from then North Adams State College.
Mr. Tatro was a self-employed handyman servicing Northern Berkshire County.
He was a communicant of the former St. Francis' Church and enjoyed playing pool, skiing, hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing, and was an avid sports car collector.
He leaves his wife, the former Gail Ogert, whom he married Nov. 18, 1978, in St. Francis' Church; two daughters, Jennifer Tatro and Ashley Boyd and her husband, Aaron, all of North Adams; a brother, David Tatro and his wife, Linda, of Williamstown; four grandchildren, Lita and Ariel Murphy and Elizabeth and Gabriel Boyd, and nieces,nephews, cousins and in-laws.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Tatro will take place Saturday, July 26, at 10 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown.
Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10 at the funeral home. Memorial donation are suggested in his memory through the funeral home.
