Pierina Graziola, 97
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Pierina Gisella Graziola, 97, of 14 Almont Ave., Worcester, a former longtime resident of North Adams, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in North Adams on June 6, 1917, daughter of Annibale and Maria Culpo Masiero Graziola, she attended local schools.
Miss Graziola was employed by the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co. for 39 years, until her retirement in 1975.
She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. She was a wonderful cook and baker, and loved cooking and caring for her family.
She leaves her sister, Mary Scott of Worcester; her devoted dog, Penny; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, including Nancy and Tony Gallati, with whom she made her home.
She was predeceased her siblings Rose Masiero Bertacco, Louis Graziola, Peter Graziola and Angelo Masiero.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Miss Graziola will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
