Deborah A. Middleton, 55

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Deborah Ann Middleton, 55, of 169 Bracewell Ave. died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center North. Born in North Adams on Aug. 16, 1959, daughter of Henry and Claire Martin Gamari of North Adams, she attended schools in Stamford, Vt., and graduated from the Drury High School with the class of 1977. While in high school, she played on the basketball, softball and soccer teams. She was also a cheerleader for the Stamford basketball team and the Stamford/Clarksburg football team. She also completed an electrolysis program in Boston. Mrs. Middleton was last employed by North Adams Commons. She was a devoted wife and mother to her seven children and enjoyed attending all of their sporting events. She was anticipating the impending birth of her first granddaughter. Besides her parents, she leaves her husband, Joseph M. Middleton, whom she married in 1999; six daughters, Corrie Ryan and Claire Ryan, both of Adams, and Casey Ryan, Kelly Ryan, Katie Ryan and Kelsey Ryan, all of North Adams; one son, J.J. Middleton of North Adams; three brothers, Craig Gamari and his companion, Bonnie Eade of Pownal, Vt., Steven Gamari and his wife, Christine, of Clarksburg, and Kurt Gamari and his wife, Rebecca, of Stamford; three grandsons, Connor Berard, Dylan St. Hilaire and Ashton Solomon, and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her brother, Henry Gamari, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Middleton will be Monday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private. Calling hours will begin Monday at 4 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in her memory.

I have not been back home in over 30 years and I have lost touch with many with whom I grew up with... I was not aware of her passing and am so terribly sorry to hear of it. I wanted to pay my respects and to convey my belated condolences to all of the family. Debbie was a kind soul and a very caring person as you all of course know.
