Steven L. Boucher, 56

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Steven L. Boucher, 56, of Fountain Inn, S.C., formerly of North Adams, died suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015. Born in North Adams on June 19, 1959, son of Ronald L. Boucher of Leesburg, Fla., and the late Patricia Anne Spink Boucher, he graduated from Drury High School in 1977 and received associate degrees from Middlesex Community College and Berkshire Community College. At the time of his death, Mr. Boucher was employed by Ceram Tec in South Carolina. He was previously employed by the former Beloit Jones in Pittsfield and Ceram Tec in New York. He was a huge Patriots fan and avid Star Trek Trekkie. Besides his father and his stepmother, Diane Buletti Boucher, he leaves his wife, the former Heidi Martin, whom he married in April 1991; two brothers, Mark Boucher and his wife, Vickey, of Adams and Jeffrey Boucher of North Adams; three sisters, Serena Cimini and her husband, David, of Pittsfield, Laurie Ann Briggs and her husband, Raymond, of the town of Florida, and Denise Meranti and her husband, William, of North Adams, several nieces and nephews, and two great-nieces. FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Boucher were held on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 13, in South Carolina. Donations can be made in his memory to Canine Companions for Independence at www.cci.org.
