Inga E. Choquette, 85
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Inga Evelyn Choquette, 85, of Inga Avenue died Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, at her home.
Born in New York City on Oct. 2, 1929, a daughter of Niels and Ingrid Petersen Nielsen, she attended schools in Williamstown.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Choquette was employed by the former Roberts Co. in North Adams and JT Bus Lines after raising her family.
She was a member of the former St. John's Episcopal Church, now All Saints. She was also a member and served on the board of directors of both the Clarksburg Senior Center and the Council on Aging.
Her husband, Gerard Joseph "Joe" Choquette, whom she married March 13, 1948, died on April 18, 2003.
She leaves her three daughters, Christine St. Pierre and her husband, Michael, Cathleen Hines and her husband, Ken, and Colleen Choquette; seven sons, Michael Choquette, David Choquette, Paul Choquette and his wife, Donna, Mark Choquette, Joel Choquette and his wife, Annie, Peter Choquette, and his wife, Lorraine, and Daniel Choquette and his wife, Lucia; a brother, Victor Nielsen; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sisters Alice O'Dell and Elsie Hall and her daughter-in-law Nancy Choquette.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Choquette will take place Friday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. from All Saints Church in North Adams. Burial will take place at a later date.
Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for PopCares or Berkshire VNA & Hospice through the funeral home.
