Mary L. Campanardi, 87

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mary Louise Campanardi, 87, of 647 Barbour St. died on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at her home.  

Born in North Adams on July 5, 1928, daughter of Erculiano "Arthur" and Orsolina Rita Ragnoli Campanardi, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1946.

Mrs. Campanardi was employed at General Electric Co.'s Power Distribution and Ordinance Division in Pittsfield as a finance manager of expense accounts and benefits for 40 years, until her retirement in August 1988.  

She was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church and later of the Parish of Sts. Patrick & Raphael in Williamstown. She was part of the GE Management Club and the GE Pensioners. She was an American Red Cross volunteer, a member of the North Adams Garden Club, the North Adams Historical Society, and of the Board of the Friends of the Library until 1996. She was also a volunteer at the former North Adams Regional Hospital and at Northern Berkshire Community Action.  

She was a former member of the St. Anthony Rosary Society, Hospice of Northern Berkshire and Elder Services of Northern Berkshire. She enjoyed traveling.

She leaves a grandniece, Gina Marie Pellicci of White Plains, N.Y., and two grandnephews, Anthony Galiani and Joshua Galiani, also of White Plains.

Her sister, Simone Pellici, died in 2006; she was also predeceased by her niece, Maria Pellicci, and two nephews Anthony and Albert Pellicci.

FUNERAL NOTICE  — Funeral services for Mrs. Campanardi will be held at a time to be announced in the spring. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
