Margaret L. Roberts, 93

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Margaret Louise Roberts, 93, of North Adams, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.

Born in North Adams on June 7, 1922, daughter of James and Amber Holmes Vreeland, she graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1941.

Mrs. Roberts was last employed by Northern Berkshire Community Action.  Prior to that, she worked at the former General Cable Corp. and Sprague Electric Co.

She was a former member of Stamford (Vt.) Baptist Church and a member of the Triad Club. She enjoyed bowling and reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves her son, James Roberts and his wife, Judith, of Clarksburg; two granddaughters, Kimberly Roberts-Morandi and her husband, Thomas, of Stamford, and Rebecca Goyette and her husband, Andrew, of Adams; three great-grandchildren, Ashton Goyette, Megan Goyette, and Thomas Morandi; and two great-great grandchildren, Elaina and Roman.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Roberts will be Saturday, Oct. 31, at 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals,  West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be at a later date in Clarksburg Cemetery.  

Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
