Garrison H. Spencer, 23
LANESBOROUGH, Mass. — Garrison Hayden Spencer, 23, of 120 Williamstown Road died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at his home.
Born in North Adams on Aug. 11, 1992, a son of Michael Peter Spencer of Cheshire and of Lisa Nicklien Spencer of Lanesborough, he graduated in 2010 from Mount Greylock Regional School, where he was a member of the wrestling team.
Mr. Spencer was employed at the Target department store at the Berkshire Mall as a sales clerk.
He enjoyed playing the guitar, collecting records, Legos and music. He was an avid New England Patriot fan. He found refuge in Buddhism in 2012 and had a keen interest in the art of cooking, landscaping and plants.
Besides father and his mother and her partner, Tim Mochon, he leaves his brother, Tyler Spencer and his partner, Leanne Martin, of North Adams; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Nicklien of Williamstown; his paternal grandparents, Nancy Spencer and her partenr, Steve McCann, of Lanesborough and Peter Spencer of Williamstown; his paternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Falbo of Williamstown, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Spencer will take place Monday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at Second Congregational Church in South Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 6 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home.
