Dennis A. Brignolo, 65
LANESBOROUGH, Mass. — Dennis Albert Brignolo, 65, of Baker Street died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at his home.
Born in North Adams on March 26, 1950, son of Albert and Pauline Rigatti Brignolo, he attended Williamstown schools and graduated from Mount Greylock Regional School with the class of 1968. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1973.
Mr. Brignolo was last employed by Williams College in its security department. Prior to that, he worked at former General Electric and at General Dynamics in their security departments.
He enjoyed golfing and sports. He was a youth coach in Lanesborough for many years, coaching soccer, basketball and Little League. He loved horse racing.
He leaves his wife, the former Lynda Ann Decelles, whom he married on July 21, 1979; a daughter, Bethany Bassett and her husband, Toby, of Colrain; a son, Matthew Brignolo of Lanesborough; two sisters, Joan Brignolo and Linda Hambaugh, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; twin grandchildren, Cole and Mason, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Brignolo will be Friday, Feb. 12, at 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be in Mountainview Cemetery in Lanesborough.
A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Lanesborough Ambulance Service in care of the funeral home.
