Robert C. Booth, 81

CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Robert Clyde Booth, 81, of Clarksburg died Friday, April 29, 2016, at Albany Medical Center, Albany, N.Y.  

He was born in North Adams, Mass., a son of the late Earl and Sylvia (Brooks) Booth.

Mr. Booth was a self employed carpenter and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a communicant of the former St. Francis Church in North Adams and St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro, Vt.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Nadeau) Booth, whom he married on August 13, 1960; a daughter, Debra Delisle of North Adams; two grandchildren, Kara and Michael Delisle of North Adams; and a great-granddaughter, Miaah Southard of North Adams. He also leaves his devoted feline, Bella.

Funeral notice: Per Mr. Booth's request, there are no services or calling hours. A private burial will take place at a later date in the Village Cemetery in Readsboro, Vt.  Flynn and Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals are in charge of arrangements.
