Jeff and Maria and Mrs. Levanos -

So sorry to hear about Mr. Levanos. He was a wonderful character and I enjoyed seeing him every time at the restaurant and at your house a few times in high school.

I could write for hours about so many things - As a young boy, remembering breakfast with my uncle every Saturday before work (when breakfast was served at Jack's). "Open lunch" at the old Drury High and playing pinball "in the back." In business, bringing new people to Jack's when he was cooking and making a comment as "I heard that some guy here owned the first Corvette in North Adams" which would cause him to quickly spin around and loudly correct me "the first Corvette in Berkshire County!"
And, most recently since Jeff took over, so very many times driving from Albany to buy and deliver a big big order for lunch to my daughters and their friends at Mount Greylock. Last order was last Tuesday as they graduate. I then confessed that Jacks would have delivered it each time but I enjoyed bringing it to them.

Mr. Levanos was one of the kindest yet most outspoken of the influential people in the city of North Adams. And someone I will never forget.
