David H. Bailey, 77
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — David Howard Bailey, 77, of Clarksburg died July 28, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lee on January 11, 1939, a son of the late J. Howard and Jean (Booth) Bailey. He attended school in Florida, Mass., and Drury High School.
David was employed for many years as a boiler man for Hayden Oil. He also was a self employed contractor and excavator and built several homes for his own family. He was last employed for his son-in-law at the Jon Bohl Construction Co.
He enjoyed farming, saw milling and attending bluegrass festivals. His greatest love was spending time with his family, friends and sharing his interest in horses with his grandchildren Nicholas and Morgan.
Survivors include his wife Gale (Moser) Bailey whom he married April 4, 1964; daughter Brenda Bohl and her husband Jon of Stamford, Vt.; son Dale Bailey and his wife Gail of Clarksburg, Mass.; four grandchildren, Morgan Bohl, Nicholas Bohl, Mekayla Bailey and Alexis Bailey; Bentley his loving dog; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by six half brothers and three half sisters.
