Carol Ann Doucette, 58

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Carol Ann Doucette, 58, of 78 Marian Ave. died Monday, July 25, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center. 

Born in Pittsfield on December 1, 1957, the daughter of Sarah Finizola Hendricks, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.

At the time of her death, Mrs. Doucette was employed by Berkshire Medical Center, where she had been a medical secretary for 13 years. She had previously worked as a medical secretary in local physicians offices. Prior to her medical career, she worked at General Electric Company. 

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She had been a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Guild. 

Mrs. Doucette enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and vacationing at Cape Cod. She also enjoyed going to the casinos and to Saratoga. 

Mrs. Doucette leaves her husband, Denis Doucette, whom she married June 9, 1979; two daughters, Lori Becker and her husband Patrick of Dalton and Katie Doucette and her fiancé Jonn Semexant of Pittsfield; two grandchildren, Noah Becker and Carter Becker; and her aunt and uncle, Ruth and Joseph Curley of Pittsfield.

She was predeceased by her brother, William.

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Carol Ann Doucette will be held Friday, July 29, 2016, at 9:15 a.m. from Dery Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. 

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire County Jimmy Fund in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
