Holley A. Mitchell, 63
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Holley Ann (Collette) Mitchell, 63, of North Street, North Adams, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born on June 29, 1953, in North Adams, the daughter of the late Clayton and Lucille Supernau Collette Sr. She was educated in North Adams schools. Primarily a homemaker, Holley loved the ocean and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by two sons, Travis W. (and Bonnie) DelRatez of Lanesborough and Heath A. DelRatez of North Adams; one daughter, Jessica M. (and Jeremy) Bishop of North Adams; one step-daughter, Dawn M. Lewis of Southington, Conn.; three grandchildren, Tristan, Kylie and Aubrey; two brothers, Daniel (and Sally) Collette of Bennington, Vt., and Clayton (and Emily) Collette, Jr. of North Adams; three sisters, Linda (and Henry) Harrington of Williamstown, Carol (and Michael) Kemp of North Adams, and Marjorie (and Glen) Sheldon of North Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Lee DelRatez in January 2015; and her husband Kenny Mitchell in June 2010.
Funeral notice: A Celebration of Holley's Life will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Blackinton Union Church, 1373 Massachusetts Ave., North Adams, with Rev. Eugene Kemp, pastor, officiating. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations to offset funeral expenses may be made to the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is handling the arrangements.
