Mary C. Fenwick, 68
LEE, Mass. — Mary C. Fenwick, RN/CRNA, 68, of Marble Street In Lee, died Friday morning, Aug. 12, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield after being involved in auto-pedestrian accident on West Park Street in Lee.
She was born in Pittsfield on November 29, 1947, the daughter of Howard and Mary Catherine O’Brien Fenwick. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Parochial School and from Lee High School in 1965 and in 1968 from St. Luke’s School of Nursing.
In 1968 she began working at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield and then attended Russell Sage College, where she received her master’s degree as an anesthetist. She retired in 2014 from BMC after 46 years of service
Mary was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, where she was a Eucharist Minister and a member of its adoration society. She was also a member of the Tri-Town Board of Health and was also active in many church and civic activities.
She leaves her brother Edward J. Fenwick and his wife Charlotte Friedman of Princeton, N.J.; her sister Ann Fenwick Beinema of Southbridge, Mass.; and her nieces and nephews Matthew Beinema, Jason and Rose Fenwick, and Rafer Friedman
Funeral notice: The funeral for Mary C. Fenwick will be held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. from the Kelly Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers friends wishing may make donations to St. Mary’s Church in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
