We lived across the street from the Shapiros growing up in North Adams.

There wasn't a finer man than Allie who was generous, warm, and caring.

God bless... he will be missed

Sincerest condolences to Ali's family. He was an exceptional man, my father's employer for decades, and a good and kind friend to my family through the years. My sisters and I babysat for his children when we were in high school. A real loss for the community. Sallie Benedetti, McLean, Virginia
