Donald H. Brasie, 88

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Donald H. Brasie, 88, formerly of Pittsfield passed away Monday, September 26, 2016, at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lee. 

He was born in Pittsfield on April 13, 1928 the son of the late Harry and Mary (Christofaro) Brasie. He attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1945. Donald was employed by the General Electric Co. in the ordnance and power transformer departments and retired in 1988 with 43 years of service. 

He was a communicant of the former All Soul’s Church and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioner Clubs. He enjoyed traveling, reading and going to beaches. Survivors include several cousins.

Funeral notice: Graveside services will take place Friday, September 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery with the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker C.S.S. officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend the service and should meet at Section 4, Lower Part, at 10:45 a.m. There are no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
