Anita T. Gibeau, 85

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Anita Theresa Gibeau, 85, of 88 Lincoln St. died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at North Adams Commons. Born in North Adams on Feb. 1, 1927, daughter of Julian and Doris Shartrand Monette, she attended the former St. Joseph's High School. Mrs. Gibeau was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for 37 years, until her retirement. She was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church. She leaves two sons, Armand Gibeau Jr. of Pittsfield and Mark Gibeau and his wife, Debbie, of Clarksburg; a brother, Julian Monette of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren, Kelly, Danielle and Allie; great-grandchildre and nieces and nephews. Three brothers and one sister are deceased, Lucille Crawford; Raymond, Armand and Robert Monette. FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mrs. Gibeau will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 9 a.m. at Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
