My deepest sympathies to Ms. Lebert's family and dear friends. Ms. Lebert was among the most dedicated teachers, and French class at Drury was one of the most fun! Her devotion to students did not stop at the end of ths school day; she shepherded us through many events in Notre Dame's Youth Group and took us on an unforgettable trip to Quebec. Many students will remember her always -- with fond memories and deep gratitude.

Ms. Lebert was a terrific French teacher and extremely devoted to teaching and sharing her love of the language and culture of France with her students. She will be missed by many former students.

She was a great Latin teacher at Drury, very involved with student's activities. One of the best up there during her tenure.

Rest in Peace.

I worked with Elaine for a while at high school. She was a great teacher and a nice gal.

As a freshman at Drury Ms. Lebert was the first teacher who encouraged me after a terrible freshman year. I still remember her fondly and always will.
