Bass Water Grill

287 S State Road, Rte 8

Cheshire, MA

413-743-1911

The Bass Water Grille is conveniently located at the intersection of Route 8 and the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail in Cheshire, Massachusetts. The BWG is the perfect destination for all your dining needs regardless of your group size or mode of transportation. From a romantic dinner for two or a party of 100, BWG is the place to be. Family owned and operated by the Bassi’s since April 1, 2007, the BWG has become a local favorite due in part to the friendly hometown atmosphere and its breathtaking view of Cheshire Lake and Berkshire rolling hills. Its varied menu provides enough choices to satisfy everyone.

Executive Chef Ed Bassi, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, has created a menu that reflects his almost 40 years of experience. The menu has something for everyone, from mouthwatering soups and appetizers to an array of savory entrées including beef, pork, chicken, pasta, and seafood. Comfort food favorites as well as more adventurous fare seamlessly co-exist on Ed’s menu. Sandwiches, burgers, dinner salads and desserts round out the diverse menu. Breakfast is also available on the weekends for the early riser.

Start your dining adventure with a bowl of our delicious 3 cheese French onion soup, our famous broasted wild wings, or our unique and delicious buttermilk blasted wings. Our garlic butter filled Steel Rail Mushrooms have become a huge favorite along with our more traditional baked stuffed mushrooms. Polenta, calamari, shrimp, and chicken appetizers provide even more opportunities. The trip continues with a collection of savory delights. Comfort food favorites such as baked scrod, fish and chips, chicken parmesan, friend scallops, and our famous broasted chicken are joined by steak and steak tips, chicken marsala, and a wide array of pasta and seafood favorites. Daily chef specials add even more variety. Not so hungry? Try a dinner salad like our Tex Mex salad with fajita chicken or our BLT Cobb or Greek Salad. Fresh greens and vegetables along with house made dressings make these salads a lighter, healthier alternative.

Sirloin burgers, our Deli Delight sandwiches and a variety of classic grilled sandwiches provide lighter choices. Corned beef Reuben, steak and cheese, Crispy Scrod and our open face turkey are some of our universal favorites. Don’t see what you like? You can design your own sandwich with our Deli Delights.

With our full liquor license, dining for 70, banquet room for 80-100, along with our extensive menu and convenient location, there is no reason to go anywhere else for your dining needs. Come on in, Chef Ed and Manager LeeAnn will take good care of you.
