William began his 18 year career in 1996 as a line cook at Bennington College, Bennington, Vermont. In 2001, he accepted the position of Head Chef with the Fox Hollow Restaurant & Banquet House, Petersburgh, New York, where he was responsible for the day to day operations, managing staff, menu design, inventory, and banquets.
In 2008, William accepted a position at the Water Street Grill in Williamstown, Massachusetts before entering the hotel/restaurant business at the Williams Inn, located on the campus of Williams College. After three years with the Williams Inn, William brought his talents to the Orchards Gala Steakhouse and Bistro, as Sous Chef in 2012. In 2014, William was promoted to Executive Chef.
