NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Darian Tovani scored three touchdowns in the first quarter to send the McCann Tech football team on to a 46-12 win over Monument Mountain on Saturday.

 

The score was 26-0 after 12 minutes after Tovani scored on runs of 26, 6 and 22 yards and David DeLisle scored from the 4.

 

It was 40-0 at half-time after the Hornets tacked on scores by Evan Drawec and Josh Brazeau. Brazeau added a 14-yard score later on.

 

Darius Tovani ran for 127 yards. Brazeau and DeLisle rushed for 91 and 88 yards, respectively.

 

McCann Tech coach Tony Skiffington called out Dalton Haskins and Mitch Mullett for their play in the offensive line.

 

The Hornets (5-3), who have won five straight, and Spartans each will finish the regular season next weekend.
