McComish, Peplowski Named MVPs

Mount Greylock’s Benni McComish and St. Joseph’s Mike Peplowski were chosen as the most valuable players of the fall by the Berkshire County high school soccer coaches.

McComish, a senior midfielder, was named the MVP of the North Division.

 

Peplowski, a senior midfielder, was named the MVP of the South Division.

 

McComish was joined by one of his Mounties teammates, forward Sam Dils, on the all-Berkshire County First Team.

 

That squad included five players from Western Mass finalist Lenox: keeper Matt Tibbetts, backs Chas Novitsky and Tom Hedges, midfielder Matt Heim and forward Mike Abdalla.

 

The all-Berkshire First Team also included Monument Mountain’s Elias Garivaltis and Isaac Graves, Wahconah’s Matt Schneider and Pittsfield’s Jackson Rich and Louis Higuera.

 

The all-Berkshire Second Team includes keeper Cal Filson and midfielder Naka O’Connor of Mount Greylock, Drury’s Jon Boland and Logan Rumbolt, Hoosac Valley’s Colin Rousseau and Steve Crouch, Monument’s Dom Defelice, St. Joe’s Chris Garrity, Lenox’s Nick Baruch, Mount Everett’s Nick Tomich and Dan Litchfield, Taconic’s Ryan Abel and Luis Rodriguez, and Pittsfield’s Mike Holmes and Jamie Rosiello.
