McCann's Team Effort Wears Down Ware

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Shane Fuller scored twice and assisted on two goals to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 7-2 win over Ware on Thursday.
 
Fuller set up Jon Leal with a through ball for the game's first goal in the second minute. Later in the half, Fuller converted a chip over the top from Mike Moreno to give the Hornets a a 3-0 lead.
 
McCann led 6-0 early in the second half before the visitors got the first of their two goals.
 
Devon Griswold and Chris Gajda split time in McCann's goal, accounting for four and three saves, respectively.
 
Damon Couture and Moreno each had a goal and an assist, and Cody Jordan and Kevin Dowling had the other McCann goals.
 
"This was a great team effort by McCann," Hornets coach Tom Bona said. "Six out of seven goals were scored by different players, and the defense kept the play mostly in our offensive end of the field."
 
McCann (2-1) hosts Mount Everett on Monday.
