SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Commerce boys soccer team scored two goals in the second half to erase a one-goal McCann Tech lead and earn a 3-2 win over the Hornets on Thursday.

James Dix scored an unassisted goal, and Mike Wojtszek set up Ryan Charon to give McCann (1-3-1) the early lead.

But Moustafa Mourad tied it, and Jose Maldonado put home the game-winner in the 75th minute.

“It was a tight game, back and forth and hard fought by both teams,” McCann Tech coach Tom Bona said.

Nico Moreno made nine saves for McCann, which goes to Ware on Monday.
