Wojtaszek, Charon Score for McCann Tech Boys in Win
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Mike Wojtaszek had a goal and an assist Monday to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Putnam.
Ryan Charon scored on an assist from Wojtaszek in the 39th minute. Then, midway through the second half, Josh Favre set up Wojtaszek for an insurance goal.
Putnam scored a late goal to get within one.
McCann Tech’s Devon Griswold made six saves.
The Hornets (9-3-3) take a four-game unbeaten streak into Thursday’s home game against Smith Vocational.
