Boino, Parrott Record Hat Tricks in Wahconah Win

DALTON, Mass. -- Kevin Boino and Collin Parrott each scored three goals to lead the Wahconah boys soccer team to an 8-0 victory over Mahar on Tuesday night in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

Boino scored the game-winner in the third minute of the game and went on to add two more to help his team take a 3-0 lead into half-time.

In the second half, he assisted on both Parrott goals to add to the three goals and one assist Boino had in the first half.

Shane Sinopoli scored a goal in the first half, and Vinnie Dinofrio put back a rebound for a tally in the second half.

Brayden Chevillet made two second-half saves to earn the shutout win.

Wahconah (12-6-1) moves on to face No. 2-seeded Belchertown (11-3-4) on Friday at 6 p.m. The Orioles received a bye into the quarter-finals.
