Welch Scores Two in Mount Greylock Boys' Win

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Finn Welch scored his first goals of the season Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock boys soccer team to a 5-1 win over Hampshire.
 
The sophomore midfielder, who half the season with a leg injury, opened the scoring with a header in the 13th minute, converting an assist from Brady Foehl.
 
In the second half, Foehl again set up Welch, who this time finished with a strike from 10 yards out.
 
Emi Soza-Foias, Sam Dils and J Bath had the other goals for the Mounties. David Falk and Sam Edge each made a save in goal to combine for the win.
 
Mount Greylock (9-4-2) finishes the regular season on Monday at Lenox.
