Mount Greylock Boys Use Strong Second Half to Top Monument Mountain

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys soccer team exploded for four second-half goals to break open a scoreless tie and take a 4-1 win over Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
 
Toby Foehl had a goal and an assist, and Finn Welch set up two goals for the Mounties, who got goals from Julius Munemo, Emi Soza-Foias and Leo Rossiter.
 
David Falk made one save to earn the win.
 
The Spartans, who scored on an own goal, got four saves from Rhys Curtis.
 
Mount Greylock improved to 4-5-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the Berkshire County North Division after avenging its one loss in the division this fall. The Mounties take a five-game unbeaten streak to Frontier on Friday.
 
Monument Mountain (6-3-1) hosts Wahconah on Friday.
