Rich's Late Goal Caps Wild Second Half, Pittsfield Boys' Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jackson Rich scored in the 76th minute Tuesday to give the Pittsfield boys soccer team a 3-2 win over Mount Greylock.
 
All of the scoring came in the second half, starting with Aaron Kleiner's goal in the 52nd minute to give Mount Greylock a 1-0 lead.
 
Max Whalen and Adrian Riva scored four minutes apart to give the Generals (3-0-1) a one-goal advantage, but Sam Dils set up Tyler Marten for Mount Greylock to tie it with about 11 minutes left.
 
Cristian Mendez assisted on Rich's game-winner to keep Pittsfield unbeaten heading into Thursday's showdown against Lenox (3-1, 2-0 North) on Thursday afternoon at Kirvin Park.
 
Jon Bile made six saves in Pittsfield's goal to earn the win.
 
David Falk stopped four shots for Mount Greylock (1-1-1), which hosts Monument Mountain Thursday.
