PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Lenox and Pittsfield boys soccer teams played to a 1-1 stalemate on Friday at Kirvin Park.

After Mike Abdallah opened the scoring on a counter in the 26th minute, Seyvon Kouao converted a feed from Gabe Rich to tie it six minutes later.

“Both teams were pretty evenly matched today, with both sides going back forth controlling the field,” Pittsfield coach Andrew Antil said.

“Seyvon came up with a big goal redirecting Gabe's shot, then our back line along with Avi [Snowise] had stellar performances in the second half.”

Snowise ended with five saves. Matt Tibbetts stopped three shots for Lenox.

The Generals (7-5-3) travel to face Taconic on Monday.

Lenox (8-3-3) goes to Monument Mountain on Monday.
