LENOX, Mass. -- Mateo Phillips scored twice Monday to lead the Lenox boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Monson as the Millionaires clinched a berth in the Western Massachusetts Division 4 tournament.

"We are coming off a string of D1 and D3 games [Pittsfield, Monument Mountain, Mount Greylock, Pope Francis], where we could not match up with our opponents' speed," Lenox coach Matt Cote said. "Today, we showed that we have grown over the last four games, playing the ball more quickly through our midfield and finding mroe creative runs up top."

Andre Collins assisted on both Phillips' goals. J.T. Novitsky set up Zach Suffish for the other goal.

Jacob Munch made six stops to earn the shutout win in goal.

Lenox (3-3-1) hosts Drury on Wednesday.
