We knew it was going to be a tough game because Lenox is a very good team.  But we believed we could win.  The first half we were ready for them to come out strong and our plan was to keep them out side and we did.  By the end of the half we were wearing them down and taking over the momentum.  The second half was back and forth, each team having some chances.  We had the better opportunites, but didn't finish.  Lenox finally put one in the net from a long ball over the top.  Still with a lot of time left we never gave up and kept pressuring the play.  We tied the game when Shane took the ball from a defender, worked his way inside the 18 yard box and finished with 7 minutes left in the game.  We had several more good chances to score before the end of the game, but luck wasn't on our side, so we ended up going into overtime.  Five minutes in we miss played the ball in the middle of the field, Lenox sent a long ball to the top of the 18 yard box that our defense couldn't control and a lucky bounce went right to Nico who finished.  End of game.  All in all a great team effort today and the entire season, we played 20 games and only lost 1 game in regulation time.  Tough way to end but over all a great season.
