LENOX, Mass. -- Andre Collins had a goal and an assist in a span of two minutes to lead the Lenox boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Monument Mountain on Tuesday night.
Collins broke a scoreless tie in the 50th minute with an assist from Michael Ward.
Collins then set up Cam Abdalla to give the Millionaires a two-goal cushion.
It came in handy when Justin Hawkins scored out of a scramble after a Monument Mountain corner kick with 16 minutes left to play.
The Spartans kept the pressure on throughout the second half, but Daniel Munch (seven saves) and the Lenox defense withstood the attack.
Max Kohlkins made three saves for Monument Mountain (3-4), which goes to Pittsfield on Thursday.
Lenox (4-2) goes to Mount Greylock on Thursday.
