Retzel, Delsignor Lead Lee Girls Past Taconic

LEE, Mass. -- Karli Retzel and Kate Delsignor each scored two goals to lead the Lee girls soccer team to a 7-2 win over Taconic on Wednesday.
 
Madeline Graziano opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 10th minute. A couple of minutes later, an own goal made it 2-0
 
Shannon Finnegan set up Delsignor to stretch the lead to 3-0, but Taconic's Kristen Borelli converted a penalty kick to draw within two.
 
Late in the first half, Finnegan set up Retzel to give Lee a 4-1 lead at half-time.
 
Retzel, Cara Walker and Delsignor tacked on second half goals for the Wildcats.
 
Brianna Hawley made three saves before turning over Lee's cage to Emily Sands, who stopped one shot. Taconic's Tori Serre made seven saves.
 
Lee (6-2-2) goes to Hoosac Valley on Friday. Taconic (1-8-1) hosts Drury on Tuesday.
