Lee High Girls Win on Senior Day

LEE, Mass. -- Karli Retzel and Shannon Finnegan each scored a pair of goals, and Brianna Hawley made three saves to lead the Lee High girls soccer team to a 4-0 win over Drury on Thursday.
 
“Senior Day at Lee High proved to be a great day for the seven seniors,” Lee coach Lauren Finnegan said. “I’m very proud of the team today. We had an emotional sendoff for our seniors, and then went and played what I thought was our best game of the season.
 
“It was 80 minutes of great soccer for the team.”
 
Retzel had a pair of assists, and Finnegan set up one goal.
 
Allie Brassard had nine saves for Drury (2-14-1), which hosts Lenox on Tuesday for its Senior Day game.
 
Lee (9-8-1) goes to Monument Mountain on Monday.
