Taconic Girls Soccer Tops McCann Tech

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jenna Bateman had a goal and two assists Friday to lead the Taconic girls soccer team to a 4-2 win over McCann Tech.

 

Four different players found the back of the net for Taconic, which got scores from Rianna Gittens, Jasmyn Middleton and Sydnie Sherman.

 

Jackie Boateng stopped three shots to earn the win in goal.

 

McCann (1-7) got goals from Dana Canales and Hannah Fuller and eight saves from Sarah Fortini.

 

The Hornets go to Frontier on Thursday.

 

Taconic (4-2) goes to Drury on Tuesday.
