After leading their respective teams to the Western Massachusetts Division 4 semi-finals, Lenox’s Tova Brown and Mount Everett’s Gwendolyn Carpenter were named co-Most Valuable Player by the coaches of the Berkshire County South Division.

Sophomore Carpenter and the Eagles went 15-3-2, falling to Gateway in the sectional semis.

Brown, a senior, and the Millionaires were 12-6-2 and were ousted by eventual Western Mass champion Monson.

Not surprisingly, South Division champion Lenox is well represented on the all-league first team.

Brown is joined by teammates Shelby Lynch, Nicole Gamberoni, Jaclynn Hathaway, Sarah Molk and Shannon Meisberger.

Lee placed five players on the first team. Junior Brianna Hawley shares the goalkepeeing duties with Meisberger, and Karli Retzel, Shannon Finnegan, Mikayla DeSantis and Khali Zabian each were named to the first team.

Taconic, Drury and Mount Everett each placed two players on the first team.

Blue Devils Aubrey Rumbolt and Miranda Wissman were honored. Taconic senior Kristen Borelli joins junior Jasmyne Middleton. Maya Neski joins Carpenter on the squad.

Honorable mention selections include: Anna Dupont, Mt. Everett; Madison Ullrich, Mt. Everett;
Abby Brown, Lee; Maria Rodriguez, Lee; Kelly Therrien, Drury; Alli Brassard, Drury;
Brooke Mangiardi, Taconic; Kailey Bell, Taconic; Rosemary Pehlert, Lenox; Abby Schilling, Lenox.
