SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Nicole Gamberoni scored twice Wednesday to lead the Lenox girls soccer team to a 5-1 win over Mount Everett.

Abby Schilling scored a goal and set up two more in the first half, and in the second half, she jumped into the goal, making six saves.

“Despite the score, we played well offensively -- creating many goal scoring opportunities,” Mount Everett coach Jessica Murtagh said. “We were mismatched defensively, Abby[Schilling] and Nicole [Gamberoni] are both very talented players.”

Shelby Lynch and Solia Schmid each scored a goal for the Millionaires, who got one save in a shutout first half from Taylor Knight.

Hudah Ngoy-Nkulu scored for Mount Everett, which got 14 saves from Madison Ullrich.

The Eagles (1-6-1) go to Drury on Friday.

Lenox (9-1-1) has a rematch with Monument Mountain on Friday afternoon.
