SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Allie Schnopp had a hat trick Monday to lead the Pittsfield girls soccer team to a 9-1 win over Mount Everett.

Cecelia Supranowicz and Randi Duquette each scored a pair of goals, and Sadie Tierney and Emery Sime each hit the back of the net once for the Generals.

Lex Swanson earned the win in goal with three saves.

Emma Gowey stopped 15 shots for Mount Everett, which got a goal from Madeline Von Ruden.

“I’m proud of my girls for playing hard today,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “Sometimes sports can be humbling, but overall proud of our effort and comradery today.

“PHS is a solid team who had it going today and we didn't have much of an answer for them. I’m proud of Emma for sticking with it today and not hanging her head - easily could have been 5-6 more goals so she played phenomenal.”

Mount Everett (0-2) hosts Lee on Wednesday.

Pittsfield (1-2) goes to Chicopee Comp on Wednesday.
