Heath's Game-Winner Lifts Taconic Girls Soccer

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Abigail Heath scored in the 79th minute to break a 1-1 tie and send the Taconic girls soccer team on to a 2-1 win over Mount Everett on Monday.
 
Sydnie Sherman set up Taea Bramer for a go-ahead goal midway through the first half.
 
But Mount Everett’s Madeline VonRuden scored unassisted to tie things up in the 70th minute.
 
Leeyia Hoose stopped 10 shots to preserve the win for Taconic.
 
The Eagles’ Madison Ullrich stopped 11 shots, passing the 600-save plateau for her career along the way.
 
Mount Everett (1-10-1) goes to Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
 
Taconic (4-10) is at Drury on Wednesday.
