Field, Kronick Lead Hoosac Valley Girls to Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley's s Fallon Field had a hat trick, and Lily Kronick scored twice on Thursday afternoon in an 8-2 win over Lenox.

 

Field opened the scoring for Hoosac 4 minutes into the first half off a ball from Madi Ryan. Lenox responded minutes later to tie the game. Sandra Arace earned the goal.

 

Hoosac scored four more times before the end of the first half and three times in the second before Arace got Lenox on the board once more.

 

Marissa Felter, Carah Cote and Madi Ryan each had a goal for the Hurricanes.

 

Hoosac outshot Lenox, 18-8. Goalie Megan Richardson made her first appearance back after suffering a mild concussion and totaled 15 saves in the net.

 

Hoosac will travel to Mount Greylock Wednesday, and Lenox will host Mount Greylock on Monday.
